Move to "Primary election"?
[edit]A large and probably increasing number of primaries are not partisan, which this article calls a "qualifying primary". I think "Primary election" would be a more suitable name for this topic, as it covers all kinds of primary. The only counterargument seems to be the nitpicky definition of "election" as a vote that puts someone in office. Not gonna open a move discussion yet, in case others have opinions.
